The EAT Lab

The Eating Anxiety Treatment (EAT) Laboratory at UofL, directed by Cheri A. Levinson, conducts groundbreaking research and treatment for eating disorders and anxiety. Students gain hands-on research experience while contributing to innovative studies that personalize eating disorder treatments and explore connections between eating and anxiety disorders. The lab offers training opportunities for future mental health professionals and actively works to improve treatment accessibility across Kentucky.

The Psychological Services Center

UofL's Psychological Services Center provides affordable, evidence-based mental health care to the community. Graduate students deliver supervised therapy, assessments and specialized group treatments, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and interpersonal skills. Our sliding-scale fees ensure accessibility, with both in-person and telehealth options available. Students gain valuable clinical training while serving community mental health needs.
