Alumni & Giving
Anthropology alumni drive innovation and change lives. Your support fuels our mission. Give today to empower the next generation of leaders and make a lasting impact.
Understand humanity. Change lives.
When you give to the Department of Anthropology, your gift travels. It sends majors abroad through the Frederic Hicks International Travel Award – to Peru, Morocco, Portugal, Costa Rica and Australia in recent years – and honors exceptional undergraduate research through the Peteet Award for Excellence in Anthropological Scholarship. Gifts help fund internship stipends for students serving nonprofit organizations, and they power the community-engaged work of the Center for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage in Louisville’s Portland neighborhood. Every dollar helps a student turn curiosity about humanity into fieldwork, research and a career. Thank you for investing in the next generation of anthropologists.
