Community Outreach and Engagement

Scientific outreach is part of our mission. The department supports the community through educational partnerships with planetariums, high schools, science museums and public libraries, and welcomes the public to campus each fall for the Bullitt Public Lecture in Astronomy – part of our Public Astronomy Lecture Series.
