A&S Champions Award

The A&S Dean's Alumni Council is now accepting nominations for the A&S Champions Award. This award recognizes graduates of the UofL College of Arts & Sciences who have achieved distinction in their field or who give back through service, commitment, or generosity.

Anyone may nominate a deserving candidate using the webform below. Nominations will be accepted through 11:59 pm on January 31, 2026.

Up to two awards may be bestowed each year. Recipients will be invited to accept the award in person during the college’s annual Celebration of Excellence on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

The Arts & Sciences Champions Award is presented in the spring by the A&S Dean’s Alumni Council to alumni who have made significant contributions to their community and the University of Louisville. 

Criteria:

  • Graduated from UofL College of Arts & Sciences
  • Achieved a level of accomplishment and distinction in their field
  • Made a significant contribution to their community or the College of Arts & Sciences through their service, commitment and/or generosity

Nominations will be accepted through 11:59 pm on January 31, 2026. They will be evaluated by members of the A&S Dean’s Alumni Council (DAC). The DAC supports the College of Arts & Sciences in pursuit of the Dean’s vision; provides advice and counsel to the Dean; serves as ambassadors and advocates for the College; and to helps secure the private resources needed for the College to achieve its mission.
