The Department of Geographic & Environmental Sciences at the University of Louisville has released its Spring 2024 newsletter, highlighting significant achievements and ongoing initiatives. Key highlights include student recognition at regional conferences, faculty research grants and publications and the Center for GIS receiving the prestigious KAMP Exemplary System Award. The newsletter features faculty research spanning climate studies, land use change and environmental modeling, along with updates on the Weather Corner program that sent nine students to the American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting in Baltimore.
