Finding Us
The Department of Anthropology is located in Lutz Hall on the southeast side of the University of Louisville’s Belknap Campus. The building sits just beyond the Brook Street roundabout and is easily accessible from the east and southeast campus entrances.
Step-by-Step Directions
- Park in the Floyd Street Parking Garage visitor area (4/5 G on the campus map).
- Exit the garage and walk south toward University Boulevard.
- Turn west onto University Boulevard.
- Cross the railroad tracks and continue straight toward Brook Street.
- At Brook Street, walk straight ahead into the roundabout. Lutz Hall will be the four-story brick building directly across the circle.
- Enter through the north or south entrance.
- The Department of Anthropology is located on the second floor, west wing.
Parking Information
- Primary visitor parking: Floyd Street Parking Garage
- Accessible parking: Spaces are available along the south side of Lutz Hall
- Visitors should follow campus signage and posted parking guidelines.
Accessibility
The south entrance provides the most convenient access from accessible parking. Elevators are available to reach the second floor, west wing.
