Graduate Admissions

Ready to apply? Admission to the MA runs through the University of Louisville Graduate School application – and we encourage you to contact the director of graduate studies before applying to talk through your interests and goals.

Accelerated BA/MA – Apply toward the end of your junior year. Applicants should have completed at least 18 credit hours of ANTH coursework – including at least nine at the 300 level or higher – with a minimum 3.3 GPA in ANTH courses.

    Apply to the Graduate School

    All applicants submit the following through the Graduate School application portal:

    • Completed application and $65 fee
    • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
    • At least two letters of recommendation addressing your academic and/or artistic achievements
