High School Students: 

The Office of Admissions offers a Campus Visit Program Monday through Friday and one Saturday per month.

• Weekdays:
  • Presentations: 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. EST
  • Campus Tours: 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
• Saturdays:
  • Presentations: 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
  • Campus Tours: 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Your Admissions campus visit will include:

• Information Session: Start with a 45-minute session led by a UofL admissions representative, covering academic programs, the application process, campus life, scholarships and financial aid.
• Student-Guided Campus Tour: A 90-minute tour follows the information session, showcasing the university's history and traditions. You’ll visit academic buildings, a residence hall and the Student Activities Center (SAC), which features food courts, a bookstore, the Cardinal game room and recreational facilities.
• Department Visit: Your exclusive insider tour awaits! Meet the artists and creators shaping tomorrow's design industry. Request a personalized studio tour and connect directly with faculty who are advancing your chosen discipline. Don’t forget to share your areas of interest! We usually schedule these visits in the early afternoon, right after your morning session and tour. Just a heads-up: department visits are available by appointment only. We can’t wait to see you!

Transfer and Adult Undergraduate Students:

The Office of Transfer & Adult Services offers a campus visit program specifically for prospective transfer and adult students. Each visit includes an admissions presentation, followed by a walking tour of campus. Afterwards, stop by their office to speak with a Transfer Admissions Counselor.

Prospective Graduate Students:

Connect one-on-one with graduate faculty mentors and explore cutting-edge research opportunities that will elevate your creative career. Please note that while our department accommodates single student visits, the graduate school organizes group visits. To make the most of your individual department visit, please let us know your program of interest and the specific areas you’d like to explore.
