Finding Us
The Life Sciences Building is centrally located on Belknap Campus and is easily accessible from primary campus walkways. It is located one block in from the North Information Lot parking lot, past Davidson Hall, and it shares space on the quad with the Eckstrom Library. Nearby visitor and student parking is available in campus surface lots and parking garages surrounding the academic core.
Step-by-Step Directions
- Visitor parking is available by the North Information Center (S 1st St, Louisville, KY 40208).
- Exit the parking lot heading toward S 1st St.
- Turn right onto S 1st St and continue south for a short stretch along the edge of campus.
- Turn right onto S Avery Court Walk, one of the campus pedestrian paths, and follow it west.
- Turn left and the Life Sciences Building (214 W. Barbee Street Walk) will be on your right.
Parking Information
Visitor parking is available with a pass obtained from the North Information Center. Please ensure you display your visitor pass clearly in your vehicle to avoid any parking citations.
Accessibility
Accessible entrances are available at the Life Sciences Building and all affiliated buildings, with elevator access to upper floors. Clearly marked pathways and ramps connect the buildings, making it easy to navigate between offices and labs.
